Morphed & Manipulated #2:
The Winchester Love Children: Mary

It's been a while since my last set of morphs. I had planned to do Jessica, Meg, and Jo, but I got sidetracked. When I finally got around to it, it was after the season 2's finale had aired and my curiousity was peaked by the revelations about Sam and by the affection Bobby showed for Dean. I thought about who is really Sam's daddy. Could it be the yellow-eyed demon? And how about Dean- he and Bobby showed a real father-son connection. So my subject of this morph set is Mary Winchester, Sam and Dean's mother and John's beloved wife. Please note that there will be no morphing between Mary and Dean or Mary and Sam. Even though the actors are not really related, it’s still too icky to think about. Sorry to disappoint those who were expecting more Sam and Dean morphs. Next time, I promise.

Some information about the morphing process: The morphing is done with morphX, a free image morphing software for the Mac. It is not an exaggeration like you see on Conan O’Brian's late show. These morphs are a true blending of facial features such as eyes, nose, mouth and chin from photos or from video frame captures. Hair, neck and clothing are completely ignored in the process and are cleaned up with image manipulation afterwards.

Now to the morphs:

John		Mary
And their morphed offspring…
Offspring #1: Denny
An equal mix of John and Mary produced this good looking male offspring with pretty eyes and a missing sideburn (oops- I didn’t see it 'til the picture was already published).
Offspring #2: Sally
A little more Mary than John in the mix produced this very attractive female offspring. I gave Sally Sam's hair and it suited her perfectly.
Now let’s line up the two morph children next to their TV brothers to see if there's any resemblance.
Morph Offspring #1: Denny		TV Offspring #1: Dean
There’s just a little resemblance in the jaw and the blond-highlighted hair. Interestingly, Denny seems to have a Dean-like smirk on his face. It’s hard to compare it, though, because Dean isn’t smirking in his photo.
Morph Offspring #2: Sally		TV Offspring #2: Sam
Sally and Sam's eyebrows and eyes kinda look alike, but there's no other similarities, except the hair.

Now, lets see how a different photo of John combined with the photo of Mary will affect the morph. Here are the results…Page 2.
