Supernatural Station

For those of you who are into Supernatural show trivia, I stumbled onto some new and interesting facts while putting together this site’s Episode & Travel Guide for season one. At least a couple of these trivia are unique to this site, so you won’t find them anywhere else on the web, not yet anyway. I won’t give away the trivia here. <Blatant Plug>You’ll have to read the detour and notes sections of the Episode & Travel guide to find out what they are.</Blatant Plug> Here’s a clue: one new trivia fact is from an early episode and another is from a late episode in season one.

A little about the episode travel guide itself…The Season One Episode & Travel Guide is a list of Supernatural’s episodes from a roadtrip perspective. The focus is on the locales from each episode and their related travel facts. When a locale is fictional, I try to find a real substitute (detour). Some substitutes are based on clues given in the episode. Others substitutes are guesses with as much correlation to the episode as I could find. Putting it together took a lot of time and I learned the hard way that Supernatural takes liberties with distances and directions. I’m a bit obsessed when it comes to keeping facts straight, so that was the most frustrating part for me. But I enjoyed doing it and intend to keep it up.

I’ve love to get feedback from you, especially about the trip notes and detours. I haven’t actually been to these places myself, though I plan to visit some of them in the near future. Most of my information I got from the internet. I tried to use reputable sources, but of course that doesn’t guarantee accuracy. If you know about a place listed and can verify or debunk the information shown, or if you know of an better detour, or even if you spot a typo, grammatical or spelling error, please let me know. I will gladly update the travel guide to keep it as accurate and as interesting as possible.

I’m now tackling season two’s travel guide. My experience with season one should make the process go faster this time around.
