A song video tribute to John, showing his life, his love for his sons, and the grief and pain of his loss.

I'm a sentimental fool when it comes to John and this video shows that. I originally made it back in January '07, but shelved it because I was dissatisfied with how it turned out. Over this past weekend, I looked at it again and realized that it wasn't half bad. After deleting some scenes and adding in some new ones, it is now ready for public viewing. I hope you like it.

About the song choice, Do What U Have to Do by Sarah McLachlan (Surfacing, 1997) is an often used song in fan vids. I have personally heard it in a Farscape fanvid and in an SG-1 fanvid. It is such a beautiful song with lyrics that relate so well to Winchesters' loss that I had to use it, nonetheless.

Please note that this video is a large file, over 21Mb in size. Do NOT view it unless you have a high speed connection (DSL/Cable/T1/T3) greater than 512kb/sec.

If you have a problem seeing this video, click here for the smaller sized version (11Mb). Javascript (or active content in IE) must be enabled and Flash player 7 or higher is required.

For fellow computer geeks like myself, if you want to know how to display a .flv video file inside a “thickbox” as is done in this post, the instructions are here.
