Supernatural in the News
July 19th, 2008 | Posted in News, Supernatural | No commentsSupernatural and some of it's former stars has been in the entertainment news this week. And it's all good news!!
- Supernatural is nominated for 2008 Emmy for "Outstanding Sound Editing for a Series"
The episode, 'Jus In Belo', is being recognized for it's superior sound editing. Personally, I loved the scene with Sam's [sexy] voice echoing over loud speakers, quoting latin. Good luck to Supernatural's sound effects geniuses: Michael E. Lawshe, Norval 'Charlie' Crutcher III, Karyn Foster, Marc Meyer, Timothy Cleveland, Paul Diller, Albert Gomez, Casey Crabtree, Michael Crabtree, and Dino Moriana. The competition is stiff (CSI, ER, Lost, Smallville), but these guys definitely deserve to win.
- Supernatural wins Constellation Award for "Best Overall 2007 Science Fiction Film or Television Script"
Raelle Tucker won for the awesome episode, 'What Is & What Should Never Be'. A well-deserved win and in a tight race too. The Constellation award is a fan-based, Canadian entertainment award given to movies and TV shows in the Science Fiction/Fantasy genre.
